Don’t Suppress, Express Your Feelings

express your feelings

Hey everyone!

Been a while huh? I’ve been really busy with writing and this month was Ramadan so I’ve been doing a lot of spiritual contemplation. So I thought maybe something about feelings and expressing them would be a good idea to talk about.

I’m back and I wanted to add a short post. : ) I’ll also have a note at the end of this post about you wonderful people!

Sometimes I repress my emotions. It’s not good and I will admit that. Sometimes though, I feel like if I get excited or too happy about something, it disappoints me. BUT I don’t feel bad about that. Instead, it teaches me to keep balance.

Keeping My Feelings Balanced

I can be happy, but not be so much that it clouds my mind.

I can be sad, but not so much that I drown in the sorrow.

I can be excited but not so much that I lose track of other things in life.

I can be angry, but not so much that it blinds me into a rage.

It’s about discipline.

And it’s something you learn as you grow. And I just want to say never, never think your emotions should be suppressed. They should be expressed, but just not to the point where you lose who you are or deeply hurt yourself.

Note: Thank you so much for following and subscribing to my emails and posts. I really want to inspire and bring hope to people. One day I hope I can share book news with you about my fantasy story. For now, I’m querying, writing and working hard.  Have a great week and I’ll talk to you again soon! : )
